Prevent Child Abuse Delaware (PCAD) is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, created in partnership with TAPP Network and made possible through a $15,000 grant awarded by TAPP. The new site reflects a shared commitment to strengthening families, supporting children, and ensuring Delaware’s children and families can easily access the critical information and programs they need to remain safe and thrive.
The website launch coincides with Prevent Child Abuse America’s national brand refresh, aligning PCAD’s digital presence with a modern, cohesive look and feel that emphasizes hope, prevention, and community impact. Beyond its refreshed design, the new website significantly improves usability, accessibility, and navigation—making it easier for parents, caregivers, professionals, and partners to find prevention resources, educational programs, and opportunities to get involved.
“This launch represents a meaningful step forward for our organization and the families we serve,” said Claudine Wiant, JD, Executive Director of Prevent Child Abuse Delaware. “With TAPP Network’s partnership, we’ve created a digital space that is welcoming, modern, and designed to meet families where they are—today and in the future.”
Key upgrades within the redesign include a “Quick Exit” feature, site translation into Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole, an enhanced search function, and dedicated menu options offering child abuse prevention resources and training opportunities tailored for parents, professionals, and community members.
The redesign was led by TAPP Network, a Delaware-based organization that connects nonprofits with top creative and technical talent to strengthen their capacity and impact. Through the grant, TAPP supported the strategy, design, and development of PCAD’s new site, ensuring it meets the needs of a wide and diverse audience.
“At TAPP Network, we believe strong nonprofits need strong, accessible digital tools,” said Joe DiGiovanni, Co-Founder of TAPP Network. “Through this grant, we were proud to support Prevent Child Abuse Delaware in building a website that removes barriers, expands access to critical prevention resources, and helps more families across Delaware find the support they need.”
The new website serves as a central hub for PCAD’s prevention-focused mission, highlighting evidence-based educational programs, advocacy efforts, and opportunities for community engagement—all with the goal of building a safer, healthier future for Delaware’s children and families.
