Dan Sanchez brings over 15 years of experience in strategic communications, digital marketing, and nonprofit leadership to his role as Director of Advancement & Communications at Prevent Child Abuse Delaware. Since joining the organization in 2023, Dan has worked to expand statewide visibility, strengthen partnerships, and grow support for PCAD’s mission to ensure every child in Delaware has a safe, nurturing childhood.
Dan began his career in the arts, earning a BA in Theatre Production from the University of Delaware. His passion for storytelling evolved into a talent for digital strategy, leading him to co-found a marketing and video production agency focused on supporting small businesses and mission-driven organizations.
He later led digital strategy for Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki’s winning campaign and became the city’s first Digital & Social Media Manager. Prior to joining PCAD, Dan served five years as Communications Director at the Beau Biden Foundation, where he advanced national efforts to protect children from abuse and neglect.
Dan is a proud father to his amazing daughter, Olivia, who inspires his commitment to child well-being and keeps him on his toes with her wit, curiosity, and very strong opinions about snacks.
