As a Prevention Educational Specialist with Prevent Child Abuse Delaware, Debbie has spent the past six years working to protect children through education and advocacy. Her journey began in early childhood education as a preschool teacher, where she discovered the power of nurturing safe, supportive environments for young learners. Each summer, Debbie continues this mission at New Castle County’s Safety Town camp, teaching children essential safety skills in fun, memorable ways.
Keeping children safe is a passion. Debbie believes that education is the key to prevention, and is committed to helping families and communities build a future where every child can thrive.
Outside of work, Debbie loves spending time with her family, especially at sporting events, on long walks in the park, or enjoying summer bike rides and beach days. A fun and competitive game of UNO always brings out the laughter and connection that matter most.
