Kellie Turner, M.Ed., School Counselor

Director of Programs

Kellie Turner is the Program Director at Prevent Child Abuse Delaware (PCAD), where she has dedicated her career since 1995 to advancing the well-being and safety of children across the state. She holds both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master of Education from the University of Delaware and is a National Certified Counselor.

In her leadership role, Kellie oversees organizational operations, program development, grant and contract management, evaluation, training, and the supervision of program staff. Her work has included delivering personal safety education to elementary and secondary students, as well as facilitating school-based support and treatment groups for children and adolescents impacted by abuse or at high risk due to parental substance use.

While earning her Master’s Degree, Kellie was honored with the Pearl and Oscar Bregman Award, recognizing her strong relationships with faculty and students, leadership in professional settings, and her potential to make meaningful contributions to the counseling field.

Outside of her professional life, Kellie is married and a proud mother of two. She enjoys shared experiences and new adventures.
