Niagia Williams, MSW

Niagia Williams has dedicated her career to making a real difference in the lives of children and families. With a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Delaware and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Niagia brings both heart and expertise to her work.

She began her journey with Prevent Child Abuse Delaware back in 1998, stepping into classrooms to teach kids how to stay safe. Over the years, her role has grown—and so has her impact. Today, she leads powerful trainings for educators, foster parents, and community members on child abuse, neglect, and other crucial topics, all while supporting those involved in the CBCAP grant program.

Niagia also spent a decade as a crisis clinician, guiding children and families through some of their most difficult moments. Her passion, experience, and deep commitment to prevention and healing make her an incredible advocate and resource. With decades of dedication, she continues to be a trusted voice in the movement to strengthen families and safeguard childhood.
